There are many things that robots can already do more efficiently than humans (look at the use of robots in production lines for example). I suspect in future robots will be able to do most of the things we can do, they may also be able to display emotion. In terms of power – a robot with a chargeable battery is not that different from a human – we just need food and they need electricity to keep going. Humans are slowly evolving all the time – but it is difficult to predict which way evolution will go. If there are selection pressures then those humans with traits that help them survive will be more sucessful at passing their genes to the next generation. For example people with genes that give them resistance to common diseases might be healthier and have more children and so over time those genes will be spread and more people will be resistant (until the bacteria and viruses evolve too of course!). So in that way we might become more efficient!
