      I often ask myself that question, especially when nothing is working 😉

      Jokes aside, I started my PhD because I really loved research and I wanted to make a difference in the world.

      I started working in energy about 7 years ago, because we all need energy to do everything that we do, and I wanted to help make that happen.

      There’s a shortage of engineers in the UK which is why I do stuff like answering questions for things like I’m a Scientist get me out of here to help people learn more about engineering and science.
