      Solar cells are devices that are able to convert energy in the form of light into electrical energy. The idea is that the sun shines and gives a huge amount of energy to our planet. If we could transform some of that energy into electricity, then we could power our computers, washing machines, elecric cars, anything really with energy which we receive for free!
