  This is difficult to answer as it depends on your phone! Modern phones with large bright touch screens use much more power than old fashioned push button phones. How much current is drawn from the battery depends on what your phone is doing – not much in standby, lots and lots if you are playing a game. Batteries are being made more powerful all the time as the amount we want our phones to do increases all the time.
