Yes! I used flash and memory cards for pretty much all of my tests so that I could revise and memorise important facts whenever I had a spare moment, like waiting in line for the bus, at assembly, and so on. Making crib notes (summaries) using highlighter pens, underlining, and so on is also useful (writing things out by hand rather than typing them on computer tends to make them easier to remember!) Another thing that really helped me prepare for exams was having my mum ask me random questions from my notebooks in the evenings before a big test.
