      It is possible, but the “Standard Model” of physics (as it is called) does a pretty good job (although not perfect!) of explaining how things in the universe operate (in terms of fundamental particles and forces). That said, “dark energy” is a mysterious form of energy proposed to explain the perceived accelerating expansion of the universe. So far there has been no experimental verification of its existence, though, so it’s probably too soon to pre-order your dark-energy powered flying car!
