About the CHRISTMAS LECTURES Zone
Bring the CHRISTMAS LECTURES discussion to your classroom
I’m a Scientist , Get me out of here is an online event where your students interact with scientists online.
In this special event with the Royal Institution, we’re inviting you to bring your students online to ask questions, and take parts in live chats with scientists to discuss topics and questions inspired by the 2016 CHRISTMAS LECTURES.
How is this different from the standard I’m a Scientist event?
As it’s Christmas, we’re opening the ASK questions to the public; because why shouldn’t everyone be able to ask questions about the CHRISTMAS LECTURES? As normal, you will be able to book live chats for your students, and only your class will take part in that chat.
We’re also losing the competitive aspect; there will be no voting, and no prize money. The experts will rotate on a weekly basis, with a new five each week. Live chats will be with the five scientists who are active that week, though the odd scientists might return to answer ASK questions when it’s not their week.
